Bombardier is pleased to announce the availability of the highly anticipated version 3 of the Bombardier Flight Deck app. This version represents a complete overhaul of the app, introducing numerous exciting features and capabilities.

The new version of the app offers the following functionalities:

• Efficient organization of documents using tags, color-codes, and favorites
• Quick access to files through left swiping to tag, color-code, or mark documents as favorites
• Visual searching for documents with automatic thumbnail feature
• Easy file selection on smaller devices with large icon view
• Annotating documents with ink, highlighter, text, notes, photos, or signatures in one touch
• Customizing day and night time themes
• Compliance with GDPR privacy legislation
• Intuitive reading of PDF files with one touch full-screen mode and thumbnail page view
• Displaying supporting documents
• Compatibility with iPhone

Note to flight crews:

1. Upon initial installation, it is necessary to press the SYNC icon to synchronize all existing files to support the new file formats in this version. Allow sufficient time for this process.
2. After syncing, pilots must read the Version 3.0 Pilot Training publication included in their account when using this version as an EFB as several icons have changed location. Contact flightdeckapp@aero.bombardier.com if you do not have this publication assigned to your device.
3. When clicking hyperlinks in a document, please note that the hyperlink button has been moved to the navigation pane.
4. Prior to deleting the previous version 2, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for the new Bombardier Flight Deck app version 3 by consulting with your local authority.

*The term "paperless" refers to the process specified in the relevant airworthiness requirement for paperless cockpits, such as FAA-AC-91-78. The use of the Bombardier Flight Deck application does not absolve the operator and flight crew of their responsibility to comply with approved documents from the applicable airworthiness authority.
